Himmel, Lawrence Edward SAN DIEGO — Lawrence Edward Himmel, 68, ed away November 5, 2014, from pancreatic cancer. He was at home, surrounded by his family. Larry is survived by his loving wife Joan, and adoring son Miles. He leaves behind brothers Gerald Himmel, and Tod Himmel (Michelle Lowder), sister Dana Himmel-Jacobs, niece Lindsay Jacobs, nephew Alex Lowder-Himmel, devoted stepfather Edmund McHugh, and his beloved lab Cozmo. Larry was preceded in death by his parents Vera McHugh and Arthur Himmel (Maggie). Services will be held on Thursday, November 13th, at 10 a.m. at San Rafael Catholic Church in Rancho Bernardo.
