Lynch was a news copy editor for eight years at The Columbus Dispatch in Ohio and, before that, spent 13 years in various roles at Pomerado Newspapers in Poway, including special sections editor. She is a northeastern Ohio native and graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She ed the Union-Tribune in 2016.
