Irv Erdos
Irv’s award-winning humor columns have been appearing in San Diego since 1981. Irv is the multiple recipient of the Best Column and Best Humor Writing awards from both the Society of Professional Journalists and the San Diego Press Club and recently received the top honor for column-writing in the “Best of the West” national journalism competition. Irv has occasionally taken his commentaries off the page and on the stage performing his one-man comedy shows to live audiences throughout San Diego. He is a graduate of the City University of New York Baruch College. Irv resides in Escondido with his wife Barbara. They have three children and six grandchildren.
