Byron Harlan had an award-winning career in broadcast news that spanned 30-years, before he decided to fulfill his goal to become a financial planner. He has a bachelor’s degree in political science from UC San Diego, a master’s degree in journalism from USC and a Master of Business istration from UC Irvine. He is a certified financial planner CFP® professional, holds the chartered financial consultant ChFC® designation along with the chartered life underwriter CLU® and retirement income certified professional RI® designations.
