Revel in Rancho Santa Fe’s rich history at Celebrate Osuna

Rancho Santa Fe Association are invited to enjoy the annual Celebrate Osuna event on Saturday, June 14 from 2-5 p.m. at Osuna Ranch. The event, hosted by the Osuna Committee, is a fun way for the community to experience the Association-owned 25-acre ranch, home to equestrian facilities and the historic Osuna Adobe.

Celebrate Osuna activities will include rodeo games, a mechanical bull, pony rides, crafts and food. A live country band will provide the soundtrack, and tastings of local wines and beer on tap will be served to adults.

The event is free to Association residents and open to all ages. Donations are always accepted to the Amigos de Osuna, a fund managed by the Rancho Santa Fe Foundation to the preservation and restoration of the historic ranch. Donate online at tinyurl.com/26mhu5wb.

Summer Twilight Concerts

‘United in Praise!’ t spring concerts in Solana Beach and La Jolla

On Sunday, June 15, the choirs of Solana Beach Presbyterian Church and La Jolla Presbyterian Church will be ing forces to present two performances of “United in Praise” at 4 p.m. in La Jolla and 7 p.m. in Solana Beach.

These concerts will feature diverse musical selections that illustrate the power of communal worship and reconciling love. With the music of the combined choir and instrumental ensembles, the aim is to foster love and unity through God’s healing gift of art, according to a news release.

Summer Fun on the 101 – Leucadia’s Annual Music Festival

Summer Fun on the 101 takes place Saturday, June 14, from 11:30 a.m. – 8 p.m. The first band takes the stage at 11:30 a.m.Presented by Leucadia 101 Mainstreet Association, the well-loved musical celebration takes place just a block from Beacon’s Beach in beautiful Leucadia Roadside Park (860 N. Coast Hwy 101).  An epic music festival, Summer Fun is free and open to the whole community. Speaker to discuss ‘Marine Safety for Solana Beach’ at event

Solana Beach has 1.7 miles of beachfront divided into four main beach parks: Fletcher Cove, Tide Beach Park, Seascape Surf and Del Mar Shores. The city’s Marine Safety Department is tasked with protecting citizens on the beaches, in the ocean, and from the coastal bluffs. On Tuesday, June 17, Greg Uruburu, captain of the Marine Safety Department, will speak at La Colonia Park Community Center, 715 Valley Avenue in Solana Beach, beginning at 6 p.m.

Uruburu will give a brief history of the department’s past accomplishments, its present responsibilities, and introduce some future programs. His talk includes graphics and plans for completion of the new Marine Safety Center, replacing the current 1940s building.

2025 San Diego County Fair

North County Republican Women meeting to feature U.S. Customs and Border Patrol, San Diego Sector

Yoga, sound therapy for cancer patients

A free class hosted by Scripps Cancer Center, combining yoga and sound therapy, is from 11 a.m. to noon June 21 at Scripps Encinitas Rehabilitation Services, 1092 N. El Camino Real, for cancer patients and their caregivers. Participants can rest or move gently through simple stretches with sounds from singing bowls, chimes, drums and gongs. at 858-554-3488.​ The class is one of several Cancer Survivors Day events presented by Scripps throughout June. Greek Food and Cultural Festival

The 54th annual San Diego Greek Food and Cultural Festival is from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. June 14 and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. June 15 at Saint Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church, 3655 Park Blvd. Live bands will perform traditional and contemporary Greek music, and youth dance troupes will perform folk dances in traditional costumes. Surf club holds art contest

The Windansea Surf Club is taking submissions through June 15 for its Menehune Art Contest. The contest is open to youths ages 18 and younger. Artists can submit up to three pieces and do not have to be club . The winner will receive a cash prize of $150, and the art will be featured on event promotional material, including poster, program and T-shirt.
