A 22-year-old motorcycle rider died Saturday morning after he collided with a truck in Poway, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office said.
The rider was traveling along State Route 67 near Ellie Lane when he crashed head-on with a Ford truck hauling a boat, the Sheriff’s Office said. The motorcycle rider died at the scene. His name has not been released pending notification of family .
An investigation into the crash is ongoing. It’s not known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the deadly crash.
