Preview: Livingston has won 12 of its past 13 matches, with the lone loss coming to Ben Holt College Prep in the Sac-Joaquin Section Division 4 Championship. Livingston is ranked No. 111 in the state by MaxPreps. … Mater Dei Catholic is coming off a four-set win over Los Angeles Wildwood in the Southern California Regional Championship, the program’s first-ever regional title. Senior outside hitter Oskar Manguy-Meza had a team-high 16 kills, moving from the left pin to the middle in the second set. Liam Kingston added 11 kills and AdrianTrevino had seven in the win. Setter Aaron Wood runs an efficient and well-rounded offense while also being a force at the net in attacking and blocking. He had four stuff blocks last weekend. Libero Ethan Bundang has 149 digs on the season. The streaky Crusaders won 14 in a row earlier this season and are now on a nine-match winning streak. Coach MarissaRitchie has led Mater Dei Christian to two straight section championships.
