When/where: Monday at Steele Canyon Golf Club and Wednesday at Torrey Pines North Course
Defending team champions: Torrey Pines (Division 1), Classical Academy (Division 2), Coronado (Division 3)
Defending individual champion: Reed Arnaldo (La Costa Canyon)
At stake: The top two teams, plus the next 12 individuals not on those teams, advance to the CIF SoCal Regional Championship on May 29 at Los Serranos Golf Course in Chino Hills.
Preview: Torrey Pines has won nine straight team titles and 14 in the past 15 years. Cathedral Catholic, however, is ranked No. 1, one spot ahead of the Falcons. The top-10 ranked golfers are: Michael Riebe (Cathedral Catholic), Arnaldo, Evan Liu (Torrey Pines), Kenyon Kahler (Carlsbad), Trevor Cox (Cathedral Catholic), Yunze Wange (Cathedral Catholic), Kaden Chang (Carlsbad), Ethan Elleraas (Torrey Pines), Brady Neal (Cathedral Catholic) and Alex Morgano (Ramona).
