
The Emilio Nares Foundation (ENF), a nonprofit dedicated to ing families navigating their child’s cancer treatment or other life-threatening illnesses, will take center stage at this year’s 21st Annual Cruise for the Cause, hosted by Xavier The X-Man. Set for Sunday, August 3, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Otay Ranch Town Center, this free, family-friendly event combines community celebration with meaningful impact.
A highlight of the day is the popular Car Show & Shine, featuring hundreds of classic cars and lowriders on display for visitors to explore and ire. The streets will come alive with live music and performances from local acts including Grooveline, Santana-Pa-Ti, Cypher St8, DJ Jose Monterrosa, Miguel Cuevas, School of Rock, and Mariachi Aguila de Logan Memorial, according to a news release.
In addition to entertainment, the event will host a variety of artisan vendors, food options, and activities for children, creating a lively atmosphere for all ages. Guests will also have the opportunity to participate in a Blood Donation Drive and National Marrow Donor Program Drive, offering another way to those in need.

The Emilio Nares Foundation provides essential services in San Diego, Orange, Riverside, San Bernadino, Imperial and South Los Angeles counties, including ive family resource centers, transportation to and from medical appointments, comfort-focused snack bags, and end-of-life programs. The organization’s latest initiative, Healing Through Nature, offers outdoor healing experiences for families of children in remission, promoting emotional and physical well-being through connection with nature.
Vehicle registration for the show is available for $60, with awards presented to standout entries. All ed participants and donors will receive a commemorative Cruise for the Cause t-shirt. Come out and celebrate community, comion, and cars—all for a cause that truly matters.
