Spring menu: Customers to Serẽa Coastal Cuisine can get views of the Pacific Ocean and try new dishes on its new seasonal menu this spring. Some of the new options include a Greek crusted tuna with a garlic lemon yogurt and an olive and pepper relish; grilled swordfish piccata with horta, lemon, Greek oregano, capers and an egg-lemon sauce; and halibut with tomatoes, Mediterranean olives and olive bread crumbs. Tequila, tacos and music: Musicians Timbaland and B.o.B headline the Tequila and Taco Music Festival at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. Attendees can sample various tequilas, eat tacos, drink margaritas and listen to music from various bands, musicians and DJs. Other featured artists include Smooth Sounds of Santana and Adelaide with a tribute to Latin divas. 1 to 9 p.m. Saturday. Taste of Cardiff: Foodies can journey through downtown Cardiff and sample food from various North County eateries and beverages such as craft beer, wine and kombucha at the 15th annual Taste of Cardiff. Participating businesses include Cardiff Seaside Market, Jorge’s Mexicatessen, VG Donut and Bakery, Cardiff by the Sea Lounge, Bump Coffee and Trattoria Positano. Cocktails and pickleball: The La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club is serving up two themed cocktails through the rest of April for National Pickleball Month. One is the In a Pickle, and it is a martini with vodka and chili-pickle brine, garnished with a pickled cucumber. The other is The Perfect Serve, and it mixes tequila, an Italian lemon liquor, prosecco and soda. The limited-time drinks are available at The Walnut Lounge inside the La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club. Live music brunch: Barleymash is introducing its Wake ‘n Bacon Brunch on Sundays with live music. Rotating live musicians will come in and play music for three hours. The brunch is created by chefs Kevin Templeton and Rose Lane. It contains dishes such as chilaquiles, French toast, chicken in a biscuit, a bourbon barbecue burger, a pretzel Benedict and poke nachos. The beverage menu features a Bloody Mary, a spicy michelada, champagne and cold brew coffee. Miami-themed drink: Cococabana at The Brick Hotel is now open on Mondays and launching Miami Mondays. This themed night includes special drinks, discounts for hospitality employees and access to the hotel’s rooftop. One of the drink deals is the $10 Miami Pound Machines, exclusively available on Mondays.
