Concerto, who lives at Osuna Ranch in Rancho Santa Fe, was named the WCHR Hunter of the Year by the United States Hunter Jumper Association. Concerto, aka “Bolo,” was presented the Peter Wetherill Cup for the honor, along with his owner/rider Caroline Ingalls, on Feb. 15 at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, Florida. (WCHR is World Champion Hunter Rider.)

Concerto’s achievements leading up to the award include:•Grand Champion at the Devon Horse Show (Pennsylvania), Pennsylvania National Horse Show, Capital Challenge Horse Show (Maryland), and twice at the National Horse Show (Kentucky).•Won the Sambalino Award at the Devon Horse Show (Pennsylvania) for exemplifying qualities of the ideal “hunter.”•Retired the Amateur Owner Hunter trophy at the National Horse Show (Kentucky) for winning it three times.
