
Solo travel is on the rise, and Encinitas author Paula Silverfarb, an avid traveler, aims to help women embrace the adventure with confidence with her first book, “The Smart Woman’s Guide to Successful Solo Travel.”

Silverfarb describes the book, which published March 14, as an essential guide that provides practical tips, safety strategies and empowering advice for women who want to explore the world on their own .
