Spring tea party: For the next few Fridays, La Valencia Hotel is hosting its annual spring tea event. In the hotel’s Mediterranean room, a tea service will be served. Three-course dinner: Beeside Balcony is now offering a $55 three-course dinner on its menu at both its La Jolla and Del Mar locations. Customers can choose from three appetizers: the Beeside salad, cioppino soup, or a salmon croquette. Main entrees include a seabass with Mediterranean tapenade, a pork ossobuco with tomato mirepoix, lamb loin chop with confit garlic mashed potatoes or a steak with chimichurri sauce and rosemary fries. Poolside lunch: The Pool House inside Pendry San Diego is launching a poolside weekday lunch menu. The third-floor outdoor Pool House menu includes sandwiches, salads, cocktails, wine, beer and nonalcoholic beverages. Some of the dishes include Buffalo-style lollipop chicken wings and a poke bowl with either brown rice or salad for the base, topped with avocado, seaweed, cucumbers and spicy aioli. Wine and champagne festival: Attendees can sample over 150 wines and champagnes from around the world at Uncorked’s 10th anniversary event. It will give guests a chance to sample various drinks, listen to DJs, try some eats from food trucks and play lawn games. Uncorked is a 21-year-old and older event and benefits the nonprofit Urban Surf 4 Kids, according to event organizers. 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday. Taste of Hillcrest: The public can sample more than 25 restaurants at the Taste of Hillcrest. Some of the types of cuisine attendees can expect are Italian, Thai and American comfort food.
