America’s worst fires engulfed Los Angeles earlier this year leaving thousands of homes destroyed and over 100,000 Angelenos homeless. Now, there needs to be a very special event to lift the spirits of the impacted families to put much-needed smiles on their faces, a Spirit of Liberty Foundation news release stated.

Everybody knows, regardless of age, but especially children love the Easter Bunny and with Easter approaching, Spirit of Liberty Foundation’s America’s Easter Bunny will be able to lift the spirits of not only the fire victims and the heroic firefighters, but many people in Los Angeles.

Shortly, America’s Easter Bunny will begin making surprise pop-up visits throughout all of Los Angeles … from basketball and baseball games to famous high-profile LA locations, shopping centers, tourist sites, fire stations, and TV stations, according to the news release.

To help make the magic happen for America’s Easter Bunny, local Alterations Center by Andy in Encinitas created a custom patriotic, colorful flag vest. Andy graciously donated his creation of the vest to the families affected by the fires. “I am happy to help in any way I can,” said Andy in the news release.

“We’ve seen the incredibly positive impact our America’s Santa Claus visits have had on victims after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, California’s Paradise Valley fires, the Boulder, Colorado fires, Lahaina/Maui fires, and just months ago, the floods in the Appalachians caused by Hurricane Helene. For all our efforts, we’ve had at the highest levels — Presidents, first ladies, of Congress, governors, community leaders and countless celebrities, actors, athletes and artists,” said Richard Rovsek, chairman of the Spirit of Liberty Foundation, in the news release.

The Spirit of Liberty Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization based in Rancho Santa Fe (www.spiritoflibertyfoundation.org).
