A pedestrian was struck by multiple vehicles and killed on state Route 905 in Otay Mesa, authorities said.
The crash was reported to the California Highway Patrol at 9:25 p.m. Tuesday on the eastbound Otay Mesa Freeway west of Picador Boulevard.
Two vehicles pulled over at the crash scene, a witness told police.
The CHP issued a SigAlert shutting down all eastbound lanes during the investigation.
No further information was available.
