The annual Ocean Beach Holiday Parade returned for its 45th year Dec. 7, with floats, classic cars, musical performers, community leaders and more making their way along Newport Avenue between Sunset Cliffs Boulevard and Abbott Street.
See the photo gallery for the seasonal scenes.
The lighting of OB’s holiday tree got the party started on the beach end of Newport Avenue, at Abbott Street. The “crooked tree” — so named because it traditionally leans to one side — will be up through Friday, Jan. 3.
Santa Claus will appear at the holiday tree from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays, Dec. 14 and 21, for free photos with visitors.
