This year’s taco day is extra magical, because the promotions are happening twice. One round came on Oct. 1, and a second round is happening Friday.

National Taco Day used to fall on Oct. 4, which means it fell on different days of the week. Starting this year, the date was changed to the first Tuesday of October, which means it lines up with Taco Tuesday. But this year the promotions are happening twice.
