Art Display “In Record Time” by Patricia Frischer—through Sept. 27
This unique and special exhibition on display now at the Rancho Santa Fe Library takes you into the fast lane of a changing world. Patricia Frischer has been described as a neo-narrative artist who uses color and vision to offer an experience to the viewer much as theatre does. She is the founder and coordinator of the San Diego Visual Arts Network, and has curated large-scale collaborative exhibitions such as Movers and Shakers: Who’s Who in SD Visual Arts, Little & Large, Art Meets Fashion, and The DNA of Creativity. She is the producer of the San Diego Art Prize, now in its 17th year, and author of The Artist and the Art of Marketing.

Rancho Santa Fe Book Cellar Half-Off Sale—Friday and Saturday, Oct. 4 and 5
Stop by the Rancho Santa Fe Book Cellar, which is right below the library, for its special half-off sale. All books, DVDs and CDs are on sale. And, for of The Library Guild of Rancho Santa Fe, there will be a sale preview night on Thursday, Oct. 3, from 5 to 7 p.m.

American Flag Drop Off
If it’s time to retire your American Flag, please drop it off at the library. There is a drop box and your flag will be treated with respect.
Battery Drop Off at Library
The Rancho Santa Fe Library is a safe place to dispose of small batteries, including A, AA, AAA, C, lithium (with taped covered ends), cell phone and other small batteries. Do your part to stop pollution by bringing this toxic trash to the library. The drop-off program is in partnership with Universal Waste.
Seeds and Sustainability
The Rancho Santa Fe Library is a seed library too! Come by to pick up two free seed varieties that you can take home and plant.
