The Rancho Santa Fe Library offers much more than great books! Come in for chair yoga, art displays, fun children’s programs, and even to safely dispose batteries. The library is a wonderful community resource and it’s open six days a week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. While you’re there, don’t forget to visit The Book Cellar too, for gently used books at excellent prices.

Rancho Santa Fe Book Cellar Needs Volunteers

Your community bookshop, the Rancho Santa Fe Book Cellar, needs volunteers. Please consider giving a few hours of your time to this worthy nonprofit. Stop in at 17040 Avenida De Acacias, Monday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., to learn more. Or call them at 858-759-8421.

“The Human Figure”—Through Aug. 30

The Rancho Santa Fe Art Guild features the display “The Human Figure” at the library until Aug. 30. Stop by the media room any Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to check it out.

Children and Tween Programming Are Back!

Children’s and tweens programs have been on pause, but they’re back. See the full schedule below.

American Flag Drop Off

If it’s time to retire your American Flag, please drop it off at the library. There is a drop box and your flag will be treated with respect.

Battery Drop Off at Library

The Rancho Santa Fe Library is a safe place to dispose of small batteries, including A, AA, AAA, C, lithium (with taped covered ends), cell phone and other small batteries. Do your part to stop pollution by bringing this toxic trash to the library. The drop-off program is in partnership with Universal Waste.

Seeds and Sustainability

The Rancho Santa Fe Library is a seed library too! Come by to pick up two free seed varieties that you can take home and plant.
