Festival fans flocked to the 44th annual Ocean Beach Street Fair & Chili Cook-Off on June 22 for its art, live music, shopping, contests and, of course, chili.
The Chili Cook-Off in the grassy area at the ocean end of Newport Avenue highlighted samples in amateur and restaurant categories from entrants competing for the titles of Hottest Chili, the Judges’ Award and the People’s Choice Award.
There also were burger and wings eating contests and the Seaside Family Fun Zone, and guests could help create this year’s community mural by painting squares.
