The Doobie Brothers, with The Robert Cray Band: With Michael McDonald back in the fold, Rock & Roll Hall of Famers the Doobie Brothers can very ably handle songs from the two peaks of their career. The band often takes on a jazzier edge in concert, thanks to the solos by former Yellowjackets’ saxophonist Marc Russo. Expect The Robert Cray Band, which opens the show, to set a high bar with its winning blend of tart blues and vintage soul. 7 p.m. Tuesday. Mainly Mozart All Star Orchestra Festival under way in La Jolla: The weeklong fest continues Saturday. Tuesday, they’ll perform Tchaikovsky and Britten at the Conrad Prebys Performing Arts Center. Smokey Robinson: This Motown music legend has been touring steadily since bouncing back from a 2021 bout with COVID. Now, at 84, one of the greatest singer-songwriters of his generation is armed with a new album, last year’s “Gasms,” and has a Spanish-language record in the works. But no matter how sound his latest material may be, Robinson knows his audiences want to hear his improbably rich catalog of songs. He is savvy enough to include nearly a dozen of them — including “I Second That Emotion,” “Tracks of My Tears” and “Get Ready” — at each of his concerts. June 26.

San Diego County Fair: This year’s theme is “Let’s Go Retro,” celebrating the music, movies, TV shows, fashions, fads, foods, games and more from the 1950s to the 1990s. The fair’s Fun Zone will feature a full complement of rides and games for adults, including two Ferris wheels, the Zipper, an aerial swings ride, four dark rides, a water log ride and Raptor roller coaster. 23rd Klezmer Summit from the Shuk to the Shtetl: Yale Strom & Hot Pstromi klezmer band, with Jamie Papish and Amos Hoffman, present a concert that traces how the strains of Middle Eastern folk music influenced the klezmer musicians of Eastern Europe. Summer concerts series continues: The 40th Santee Summer Concerts series continues with Journeyman, a Journey tribute band. California Wine Festival: The California Wine Festival is back June 28-29 with alfresco tasting events. Attendees can try pours from winemaking regions across California, paired with gourmet appetizers from a number of North County’s top restaurants. Highlights include lifestyle exhibitors and live entertainment. Proceeds from the auction benefit Golden Rule Charity, which helps people in the hospitality industry. The two-day event includes a Beachside Wine Festival at the resort’s Heron Lawn. Attendees can enjoy tastings and chat with winery representatives and culinary experts. The VIP Pavilion will feature a selection of reserve-level wines and craft brews along with special seating next to the resort’s golf course overlooking the Batiquitos Lagoon nature preserve. Double feature lectures at MiraCosta College: MiraCosta College’s Learning is for Everyone (LIFE) group presents two free lectures.
