The City of Encinitas, in partnership with the North Coast Symphony Orchestra, will present the inaugural 2024 Youth Piano Concerto Competition Concert on Saturday, June 15, at 2:30 p.m. at the Encinitas Community Center, 1140 Oakcrest Park Drive, Encinitas.
The award-winning performers include Frank Luo, Mozart Piano Concerto No. 23 in A, Movement 3; Luna Lee, Beethoven Concerto No 1, Movement 3; and Maxwell Tran, Shostakovich Concerto No. 2, Movement 1. The winners competed for the first-place prize of a $250 contract to perform one movement of a selected concerto with the orchestra on a Steinway D concert grand piano.
