Great Decisions, Mideast Realignment—May 6
On Monday, May 6, from 10:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the library hosts a lively discussion about the Great Decisions 2024 Briefing Book. This book is put out by the Foreign Policy Association and offers expert insight into policy options for U.S. officials. You can read a copy of the book at the library and then participate in the conversation. The topic for the May meeting will be “Science Across Borders.”
Rancho Santa Fe Writers Group—May 8
This group is a great opportunity for writers of all levels to commiserate and share . It meets the second Wednesday of every month, from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. The next meeting is Wednesday, May 8.

Photography Exhibit—May 4 to June 18
Local photo artist Jennifer Nelson’s work will be on display at the library from May 4 until June 18.
Special Enrichment Activity for Kids—May 30
Bentley the Dog visits the library on Thursday, May 30, for petting and reading with kids. Come over at 2:15 p.m. to meet your fluffy friend.
American Flag Drop Off
If it’s time to retire your American Flag, please drop it off at the library. There is a drop box and your flag will be treated with respect.
Battery Drop Off at Library
The Rancho Santa Fe Library is a safe place to dispose of small batteries, including A, AA, AAA, C, lithium (with taped covered ends), cell phone and other small batteries. Do your part to stop pollution by bringing this toxic trash to the library. The drop-off program is in partnership with Universal Waste.
Seeds and Sustainability
The Rancho Santa Fe Library is a seed library too! Come by to pick up two free seed varieties that you can take home and plant.
