Assistance League of Rancho San Dieguito (ALRSD) will hold an outdoor patio sale of plants Friday, May 17 and Saturday, May 18, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The sale will be located just outside the Assistance League Thrift Shop at 1542 Encinitas Blvd., Encinitas.
The sale will offer one-of-a-kind garden art, creative pots, succulents, plant cuttings, starter plants, containers, and bird feeders that have been prepared by volunteer to help the organization raise funds for the Assistance League’s philanthropic programs transforming lives and strengthening communities.
The plant selection will be first-rate but at bargain prices.
–ALRSD relies on donations and revenue from the shop to fund its many community philanthropic programs, such as the recent awarding of college scholarships to local high school seniors
–ALRSD thrift shop welcomes donations of plants for this sale and also gently used household items and clothing.
ALRSD is vested in the education of children through other programs such as Operation School Bell which provides gift cards for students with financial need to select new clothing, shoes, socks, and jackets that help them feel special when going to school. ALRSD raises funds through its Thrift Shop in Encinitas, fundraising events, individual and corporate donations, and community and government grants.
