UPDATED:

Knowledge is power and the greatest asset you can acquire in order to compete for a fantasy football championship.

Here’s your 2023 preview of the Arizona Cardinals, the fifth of 32 team profiles during draft season:

2023 Fantasy MVP: Marquise Brown, WR

Brown (ADP: 77) has been drafted as a borderline WR3 (WR34 overall), but with DeAndre Hopkins in Tennessee, he’s the unquestioned No. 1 target in the desert and could end up one of the most targeted receivers in the league, considering the Cardinals project as one of the league’s worst teams. If Kyler Murray is serviceable when he returns (possibly in October), “Hollywood” would likely be one of bigger value picks in your draft.

2023 Fantasy Sleeper: Keontay Ingram, RB

James Conner (ADP: 66) has 26 touchdowns in 28 games for Arizona over the last two seasons, but he’s 28 years old and has a concerning injury history — Conner has missed multiple games in all six seasons he’s played in the NFL. Ingram (ADP: 285) has a realistic path to touches as Conner’s primary backup.

2023 Fantasy Bust: Kyler Murray, QB

There’s a good chance Murray (ADP: 165) opens the season on the reserve/PUP list after tearing his right ACL and meniscus last December. It would sideline him for at least the first four games. I know some are considering drafting the former top overall pick and stashing him in an IR slot. Let someone else absorb the risk.

2023 Fantasy Rookie to watch: Michael Wilson, WR

Wilson (ADP: 258) was plagued by injuries while playing for a terrible Stanford squad and is technically raw after only playing in 14 games over the last three years. However, he was a four-star recruit, features prototypical size and has proven dangerous in catch-and-run situations. The third-rounder is looking like a lock to start opposite of Brown in two-receiver sets with Rondale Moore (ADP: 142) operating out of the slot.
