UPDATED:

A series of heavy rain-producing storms caused the San Diego River to flood in Mission Valley. There were a number of rescues and a few cars got stuck in the rising waters. Mission Center Road, Camino de la Reina, and Fashion Valley Road were among the major roadways closed.
