The Ramona Art and Wine Festival has selected Lynette Bredow’s watercolor painting showcasing grapes and a sunset to commemorate its 10th annual Ramona Art and Wine Festival.

Bredow said she was inspired for this year’s art by a picture of Hatfield Creek Winery’s harvest of Petite Sirah grapes.

“They were so beautifully perfect and combined with Ramona’s fabulous sunsets,” Bredow said. “I could not resist putting it together for the 10th year of the Ramona Art and Wine Festival. It shows the beauty that is Ramona and its wine country.”

Bredow has been part of the Ramona Art and Wine Festival for the past nine years. She created her popular painted wine barrel art from 2014-18 and 2021, and was the Festival’s Commemorative Artist in 2019.

Bredow will be acknowledged and her original painting will be presented at the VIP Gala event for VIP Festival port holders on Friday, Oct. 28, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Three Hills Winery, 16805 Highland Valley Road in Ramona. Limited edition signed copies of the painting will be available at the Gala as well as the following week at the Festival, and will be featured on the cover of the Festival’s program. The original art will be auctioned live at the Festival on Nov. 5 at 2 p.m.
