UPDATED:

Ocean Beach celebrated German culture and the arrival of fall with its 20th Oktoberfest on Oct. 7-8 where Newport Avenue meets the beach.

The festivities, organized by the Ocean Beach MainStreet Association, included (of course) a beer garden, live music, contests for Mr. & Ms. Oktoberfest, stein-holding, bratwurst-eating, balloon-blowing and cornhole, plus vendors, giveaways and more.
