The artists from Affordable Treasures turned Friday into a “painting party” to freshen up the outside of the Ramona store.
The event included celebratory hats and a “grand sense of folly,” said Karen Delia-Mendoza, who is owner of Strange Bedfellows and has a booth in the art co-op.
“We did want to update the building because it was a good time to give it a little shine,” Delia-Mendoza said. “We attract patrons locally as well as from all over the country who are enamored with the look, feel and charm within.”
Affordable Treasures features 28 crafts vendors, each with their own style of gift items available. The store is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays.
The store is at 677 Main St. in the Old Ramona Pharmacy building. For more information, visit www..Affordabletreasures.com
